Data sharing with third parties
In addition to those as specified in our Privacy Policy, when you visit our websites, to assist us in measuring your engagement with our websites and interactions with subsequent shoppable content, and provide you with relevant internet-based advertisements across the internet, we share the following information with third parties and third parties may collect such personal information directly from your browser and device:
- Internet or other electronic network activity information
- Geolocation data
- Identifiers such as online identifiers, IP addresses, or similar identifiers
- Inferences drawn from personal information
In particular, “Find Pocky” is supported by a third party application called MikMak whose privacy policy is found here. A unique identifier is used within the MikMak application to connect traffic data regarding how you came to the Glico website, and to the retailer button you select. This identifier is a unique, randomly generated identifier assigned to each individual shopper interaction within a MikMak application that allows MikMak to attribute downstream activity, such as purchases. The unique identifier plays a critical role in connecting retail basket data received from participating retailers (which may include product details, prices, and timestamps) back to the original commerce interaction. MikMak shares anonymized and aggregated attributable sales data with us, which we use for monitoring and analyzing trends, usage and the status of activities in connection with the Glico Group’s goods and services, with an aim to improve or develop the Group’s goods and services. If you do not agree to the use of your information for these purposes, do not use the “Find Pocky” application.
